Chadwick Boseman Posthumous Golden Globe

Chadwick Boseman, known for his role as superhero Black Panther, died in August at the age of 43. Boseman had a private battle with colon cancer and lost  against it this past August. He had been fighting colon cancer since 2016; the diagnoses came the same year he was filming his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Captain America: Civil War. His oeuvre lives on as he has received a posthumous award Golden Globe for best performance for his role in Ma Rainey's Black Bottom. His wife, Taylor Simone Ledward, accepted the award on his behalf, and presented an emotional speech. "He would thank God. He would thank his parents.
